Because our sights are more forgiving (we use a 5 degree arc of accuracy), they will not give a student feedback on trigger control, recoil or grip issues that are more obvious when they can see their fronts sight move. A new shooter should learn on iron sights, then when they have the basics down and you’re ready to introduce them to shooting on the move or force on force, add in the green light sights. You can slide the optic in and out of the housing so you only need one gun for them to train on. Another way to simulate the stress of a gunfight is having them do calisthenics before shooting to raise their heart rate and decrease their fine motor control.
